Our mission at Ogoni Arise is clear - to fight for the total liberation of the Ogoni People through strategic investments. We envision a future where the Ogoni community thrives, empowered by the opportunities we create. By channeling our efforts into impactful projects, we aim to bring about lasting positive change for the benefit of every individual in the Ogoni society.
Ken Saro-Wiwa was a Nigerian writer, environmental activist, and leader of the Ogoni people. He gained international recognition for his advocacy against the environmental degradation caused by oil extraction in the Niger Delta and for the rights of the Ogoni people. Unfortunately, his activism led to his arrest by the Nigerian government in 1994 and finally hanging on November 10, 1995 alongside 8 other activists.
